The Maserin 195 SUPERTiN Fat Carbon is a slim, extremely elegant folding pocket knife, with a pen blade and a serrated blade.
The curious name here comes from the “Super Titanium Nitride” blade coating. Maserin’s technology has allowed the blades of the knife to be coated with a titanium nitride finish, which in practice gives an incredibly refined golden lustre to the blades. In use, this coating bestows a very strong resistance to corrosion and abrasion and a very high surface hardness.
The handle scales of “fat carbon” manage to mix gold with carbon fibre, to give a deeply swirled finish.
Set off with gold plated pivots, this non-locking, UK friendly folding pocket knife is supplied in a leather slip case, and is one for the discerning collection.
